About Ms. NixNicole Lyn began cultivating a love of music, dance and storytelling from an early age. At just 8 years old, she won enrollment into Toronto's prestigious Claude Watson School for artistically gifted students and immersed herself in the performing arts. By the time she was 18, she was well known for her roles on Canadian television, including the hit teen comedy Student Bodies, and as a prominent presence in Toronto's entertainment community. Now popular with party revelers as Ms. Nix, this multi-talented and accomplished performer knows the significance of taking her audience on a journey, and brings that skill and passion to deejaying. Her Jamaican heritage, and the years Nix spent growing up on the island have also given her in-depth knowledge of classic reggae and dancehall. But it's her curiosity and love for music of all genres and eras that fuels her ability to seamlessly blend elements of soul, funk, reggae, hip-hop, R&B, pop, rock, and house, and define her deejay sets with a unique and irresistible style. In just a few short years, Ms. Nix has established herself as a "music lover's deejay" spinning regularly at notable venues in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Toronto and Jamaica. Her talent and versatility has made her a favorite among celebrities and leading brands in entertainment, media, fashion and sports.
